Cayenne Red Metallic

First off, anyone that has a Cayenne Red Metallic car, if you got any pics, if you could post them, that would be awesome. Secondly, do any of you have racing stripes and if so, what colors do you have? Also, are any of you SS people, and if so, do you have stripes on your car? Im thinking of buying an SS hood, and i want to get racing stripes, but am unsure of how stripes would look on my car, considering its an off red. Thanks for any and all responses.

No, thats not my color, but I would much rather have that color. It looks much deeper and better in genral than mine. A question on another note, how hard was it to do that spoiler and how much did it cost you to get painted? I really like the look of the 98+ spoiler, but wasnt sure how hard it would be to do, with the LED third light. Thanks for the post.

I got the spoiler for 200 and another 200 for painting and i put it on myslef so.........400 in total and for the brake lights you just cut the stock wires hook up a resistor and connect the stock wires to the new wires....it was pretty easy to do just take your time so you dont scratch the fresh paint.let me know if you got any other questions

Click on the link in my sig for my Camaro. It's the color you are talking about. It was the replacement for Maroon after 95, I think. I guess they call it "cayanne" because of the slight tinge of orange in it.
Actually...the color that I have isn't GM cayanne metallic red anymore, but it's close. It was originally, but when I repainted, I used Sikkens brand paint with metal flakes that are MUCH much finer than OEM based on a match of one of the panels with the least fading. That, with 3 layers of clear. My car sat right next to a Candy Apple Red 56 Chevy they were also painting in the shop...my paint and the 56's paint were almost indistinguishable. So...since it's not GM...I prefer to think of it as that Candy Apple Red color.

(but if cayanne red metallic 'tips your trailor'...then by all means...)

Scroll to the bottom... My camaro. Same color.. No stripes though, I'd say black would look good with it...
