Just saw these thought I would pass it along They are great quality I got a carbonfiber for my 95

I have a carbon fiber one on my 95 Z...

It is sweet as hell.. subtle but

 

They have them on Ebay for pretty dang cheap too. I thought about buying the carbon fiber one.

 

Wow...the aluminum one is kinda cool. Carbon fiber is sorta played out, IMO.

I wonder how the aluminum one actually looks installed, though? Could look cheap and tacky.

It am sure it is different from the one that ProCarParts sellls. Looks quite a bit different, anyway.

I was gonna get some silver faced guages and Firebird bezel from Macewen...but would that aluminum-looking bezel linked in the first post look better?

Anyone gonna take the plunge and order it from ProCarParts? I have dealt with them once before, no problems on my end.

 

I don't think that the Alum. bezel and white face gauges would look good. They are too similar in color, and it might be hard to distinguish the two. I think the carbon fiber one and white face gauges would look good though. The carbon fiber one is nice and subtle. More of a stealth look too.

Er...that isn't what I meant to type.

What I meant was...

What would look better? The stock black faced gauges with the aluminum bezel from ProCarParts, or silver faced guages with the stock black bezel?

I suppose that can't be answered until someone actully buys the part from ProCarParts and installs it.

So who is gonna do it?

 

The one on E-Bay is actually brushed aluminum...the one on ProCarParts (sa you mentioned) is aluminum "look." I would say that the ProCarParts bezel is a little higher luster, just guessing from that pic though. I personally don't like the look of the aluminum bezels, they just don't flow well IMO - kind of chop up the gauges or something. Silver faced gauges tho are nice - I say go that route.

The C/F is nice, but is overused. (C/F in general).

 

Well, this is my car and it's an LT1, but you can kinda get the picture. These are Silver gauges. They do look darker than this picture shows just so you know. Pic 1

I can't find white with aluminum guess that's a good sign that they don't look good together...
