I've been looking for the same thing. Not really for looks so much, but weight reduction. Maybe you could contact one of the guys on ebay that sell them and see if they could make one. I know they sell them cheap for just about every rice-burner around (quality is pretty good too).

$1,095.00 No way I'd ever spend that much for a hood.

Well, if you think about it... $500 or so for a fiberglass hood. Anywhere from $200 to probably $600 or more to paint it depending on if blending is required. The TOTAL cost of a fiberglass hood will usually approach the carbon fiber hood which doesn't require painting so when you look at it that way, it isn't as bad

Maybe you can get Brent to make you an overlay?

That is a nice hood - but I couldn't do that...just flat out costs too much.

I'm not lookin' for that hood, I was only saying that I wouldn't pay that much for it. Carbon fiber hood on a 30th Anni? I don't think that would look too nice.

LOL! Guys, don't be giving people ideas or I might start getting emails about it.

I'm not much for the carbon fiber look myself either but some people really do like it. I like a hood that is the same color as my car... not carbon fiber, not primered, not hot pink, etc.

I spent over 1300 with shipping included + painting on an OEM

895 + 400s/h or so. because i wanted OEM!! nad there was no way I was getting a crappy ASCD or similar hood again.

I wonder the weight of such a hood... and what savings would you get with it... 20lbs are good when you combine it with the cross member and A-arms

I think it's BSM that makes it.

You would have to import it from japan = not worth it.
