I was wondering if anyone changed their z28 emblems in any way on a black or dark car. Either outlining them in red like the ss ones or vinyl covering, or something of that nature, I want to do something Anyone got any pics ?

I used RK sports carbon fiber emblems since I wanted something other than black but didn't want it to stick out. The pics are in my sig.

 

I'm in the process of ordering silver vinyl overlays for the Z28 emblems from Brent. He's got good stuff.

I originally had Light silver overlays on my emblems, there are pics in the sig. They were reflective and really look white in the pics. I really wanted more of a gun metal gray but they still looked good in my opinion. I then changed to chrome overlays. They looked good but i hated that the vinyl always lifts up on the edges, not something you want when you are trying to pass it off as chrome. Because of the peeling/lifting up i just yanked them in favor of the 69 Z28's. i need to put up some new better pics but i just don't have time and internet access much anymore. If i had to do it over again i would probably get some real stainless 4th gen Z28 emblems. To me chrome/polished stainless go hand in hand with Black.

 

i got silver vinyl badges and camaro fill in the back on my black Z. i think it looks pretty good. i was also think chrome would be pretty sweet.

 

There was some billet 4th gen emblems on ebay a couple weeks ago. That had 5.7 LT1, or something like that, laser cut into them. They looked pretty nice. I have the chrome overlays on mine.

 

I have a black formula with red decals, I like them alot.
