Can someone give me a quick run down of hyper bright lights. Im confused!

Im interested in putting the really bright white/bluish-purple lights on my TA. What exactly do I need and how much will it cost. Also, whats the difference between the different types of bulbs and the light you get out of each. Thanks for any help Ive been researching this and I am as confused as ever.

Me too, I'm looking to get some bulbs for my Camaro that I just picked up. What do you guys recomend? I usually get Piaa bulbs but I'm feeling like a cheep a$$ right now and don't want to spend 75+ bucks on headlight bulbs. What are you guys running?

I cant find anything about these lights on a TA. I know you need to find either a closed fixture light with a bulb already in it or a conversion kit that lets you use any bulbs you want. Am I right? Which one is better and where exactly can I get some for my TA?

You are exactly right.
It has been a long time since I looked up such for a T/A, so I am not sure where you can get them.

What you need to do is look up your stock headlamp replacement part number (I think it is H5666, but I am not sure). You can find this at www.sylvania.com.

Once you find that - then do a Google search or something for that part number + "sealed beam conversion" and similar terms. Just do some searching - and see what you can come up with.

If you want to use your own bulbs - then you have to have a different headlamp assembly. If you want white bulbs period - I think Sylvania offers Silverstars in the correct housings already.

You can also search on eBay for your headlamp part number. Hella is good, and make some sealed beam conversion kits. Eurolite might not be as bad as some - just do a little research on any brand you find - you should be able to get reviews for just about any company's products (even if it isn't your specific one).

So you have two options -
•Sealed beam conversion which is: Different headlamp housings that allow you to "plug and play" any bulb of your choice.
•Hyperwhite style factory headlamps: Just a sealed beam headlamp with a hyperwhite bulb instead of a yellowish bulb like factory.

The bulbs you can find out favorites of the members here by searching...
Nokya, Ichiban, Cuzo, and FX are the top favorites. What color, temp., etc. is just at your discretion as to what you want. On stock wiring - go for around the 85w range.
