I have a 1997 Camaro and I want to switch my tan interior (cloth) to black and red leather from www.leatherseats.com is this possible? I know you can recover the leather seats but can you go from cloth to leather?

Yep you can take your door panels to a apolstery<sp?> shop so they will match

 

Sure it can be done. Although its probably cheaper and easier to find seats and then bolt them in place of your old seats. Assuming they fit on the stock bolts.

 

I know it would be cheaper to just get used seats but I really want the black and red and I can't find them in cloth (for a reasonable price) or any in leather. The leather seat covers are only like $200 for black and red with embrodiery (sp) then red and black cloth seats

 

I've got a set of cloth black and red I am trying to get rid of. Even have the door panels to go with them.
