Can Clearcoat go on Intake Manifold? (Over powdercoat?)

I have a red powdercoated intake manifold on my LT1. I'm going to re-buff the top "stripes" with the bare metal showing through and I'm wondering if I can clear-coat over it when I'm done?

I'm not sure what the ACTUAL temps get to be on it...

Yup, I did mine that way. The red now has some depth to it and made it soooooo much nicer. I wasn't too happy with the color but the clear really helped. I tried a color called black chrome. I hated it by itself but once I applied the clear, it suddenly became my favorite color. The coating directions said that "black chrome" MUST be used with clear, so that is probably why it looked crappy in the first place. I get my stuff from hear.
