Just out of curiousity, i was wondering if you could take the doors, fenders, hood, and front bumper cover from a firebird and mount them on a camaro. i've always been partial to the front end of the firebird and the rear of the camaro. looks like you'd need the doors because of the way the mirror sits into the fender. the doors look pretty similar in shape though, anybody attempted this?

 

Yes in reality you could but thats your own choice. You will also need the headlights, bumper support, and all the small hardware but other than that yes it will line up

 

If you do it and it works, put some pics up, ive never seen one b4 but always wondered what it would look like.

 

i'd feel a little bit more comfortable if i actually heard of anyone else ever doing this. i looked all over the internet and came up with nothing. Anybody have pics?????????

why would anyone go from a maro to a firebird

 

They don't line up or match. The shape of the doors and fenders are very different, look at them side by side its pretty obvious. There were pics floating around a few years ago of a GM test mule with mismatched parts. It looked horrible.

 

I remember seeing a post on here some time ago with a picture of said mutation. Maybe it was the other way around; camaro front with firebird rear. But anyway, it kinda looked like a Frankenstein. All the parts fit together, but they don't go together. As said above, the lines don't fit with each other.
