I didn't. I like the 93-96 cause of the sequential tail lights you can do.

I cannot stand the amber....

besides the 93-96 follows the lines of the car... the white reverse light follows the line of the hatch....

I hate amber... especially on NBM

I just got a set recently gonna do the conversion...

Well to be accurate the ls1's have 97 style tail lights seeing as how they had them first

I dont like the looks of the light either and up close it looks kind of hacked together. I am a fan of amber turn signal lights though as they are easier to see from a distance! I dont like how they made just the center part of the 93-96 light be used for the brake and turn signal. I reweired mine so that all three sections work as the brake and turn signal

there is also room to add a light in clear section that is still seperate from the back up light and run that as a turn signal with an amber bulb and yet the lens would be clear

I've been thinking of doing this but havent felt much like doing it.
