He's definitely trying to make it into Rice, but what bothers me MORE THAN ANYTHING is how he has a sawed off Rhino horn coming out of the hood. It looks like something lame out of the Fast and the Furious.

That is just wrong. The styling is so different between the two it looks really cheesy and clashy when put together.

I wouldn't go that far. Sure they are on different ends of the spectrum but withe enough thought and effort I believe it could be made to work. The key word there was THOUGHT. This guy in question apparently doesn't have one in his head, good that is.

I just noticed, Is he trying to use a LS1 bumper on an otherwise LT1 car?

The more I look at it, the more I wonder... Why does it look like he used an angle grinder to remove the paint on the hood??? Wouldn't you normally just sand it off or sandblast it rather than grinding swirls into the metal???

OMG, that's sooo bad. That seriously brings a tear to my eye. How could you hate a f-body so much to be able to do that.

I was hoping to see something cool like this:

Bad body gaps, but kinda neat to see.
That looks ridiculous.

Really with that one all they did was slap a front end on a firebird. Wasn't that a gm prototype that was put together with left over body panels?

Come on. If you line it up it would look great. It looks like crap because the molding on the side doesnt line up. Remove the molding on the side and look at it. Photochop please.

Or the fender with the rocker and ground effects. And it doesn't line up with the mirror either. If I were taking that approach, all of the bodylines (including the one's on the front and rear bumpers) would have to go. The only way I can figure to make a Cambird, Firemaro, inegma(gonna copyright that if I ever do one!) is to splice together say a bird fender and and maro fender to get everything to line up. Basically do that across the entire car to make it look like it rolled of the line like that. I really need to ignore this thread before I try this! I couldn't ever afford it or have the paitence to do it!

I think youre right on the money. Paitence is the key and attention to detail.

This one isn't someone's hairbrained idea: This is an authentic GM creation. If I recall correctly, they did it to test out electronics, engines or something. I think I've still got the issue of High Performance Pontiac at home where they discuss it. If you could see inside the car, it's full of gauges, meters and computers.
