camaro rear, firebird front...
Re: camaro rear, firebird front...
I think he's got the right approach to it, since it would require more than just bolting panels on to make it work. Exactly what he's doing I have no clue and would be scared to see it when it's done. I guess that's a shaker set up on the hood?
No, it'll be two poor f bodys in the junk yard. I doubt either will be salvageable if or when he get's done. Poor poor Fbods.

You never no though, he could prove us wrong and end up with something cool and unique. How long all of the bondo and firberglass holds to the bumper and all of the other panels is anyones guess. Looks like a lot of sculpting around the headlights and fenders are needed. I would hate to tackle a project like that.
Re: camaro rear, firebird front...
Now that I look at the pictures of the red one above I think it could be made to work fairly easily. You'd just need to be really careful about picking what parts you want where, and making the body lines the same or gone all together. I'd better stop before I talk myself into it.
Re: camaro rear, firebird front...
I saw his post on another board. I think it can work, heck I wanna see it work because I think it would look very cool. I just dont like his approach. I wouldve went with a complete 98+ firebird front end. I wish him the best and look forward to it"s completion.
Re: camaro rear, firebird front...
Hmm... I would have used a '93 Camaro front end, Firebird front fenders, firebird doors and such, '02 Trans Am spoiler and taillights, and '93 Camaro rear bumper.
Not sure how that would look off the top of my head, but I bet the trans am spoiler would look good with the sharp squinting headlights of the early 4th gen front end.
