im looking into putting some scanner lights on the "vents" of my 93 stock hood, probably just cutting out the piece and putting the lights inside, the only issue i see is, i purchased the lights and therye 14" and the vents are only 12" anyone ever seen this exact mod done?
and also....do any halo lights exist for a 93 model? o_0
any suggestions toward the scanner lights?

no Halo's for 93 unless you convert to a PIAA or Hella 90mm setup, then I'm sure you could find someone that makes a halo that would fit just right on those. As for the scanner, you would really need an Ultra-Z hood to pull the look off correctly. it would be too far up the hood in the stock vents to look right. Both the old and new KITT have the scanners at the front of the nose.
Thats true, the 2002 Ws6 pulls the look off pretty well. The Ultra Z hood which is an item that has been discontinued would look good aswell. I have been thinking about cutting the stock bumper and doing this, right where the emblme is at.
well i mean id be going for my own look of kitt, i dont like it at the nose to be honest, i think it would look pretty sick up at the vents, i just wanna know what can be done about the sizing, since the lights are 2 inches longer than the vents... and is there any link you could post on refrence to those halo lights
I forgot which companies make different halo's for custom fixtures, It was on the altima forums I remmeber seeing.. There is a guide on youtube of how to make your own though. granted I coudlnt find the link for that either.. Im useless tonight, here is the company that make's custom halo kits though... http://www.automotivelightstore.com/
That aside, for the scanner, you could also use multiple LED sets and a sequencer to produce you own scanner that would be a custom size and even more unique.

lol, yea i might have to return the ones i ordered, but now the trick is finding a sequencer and rigging led's.....i mean at one point in my life i did put led's into the fretboard of a guitar...so i have some experience
if you got any links on that sequencer and how to rig it let me know
