I have a silver 98 Camaro Z28 and need help deciding on what finish Z06 wheels i should get. I prefer C5 wheels but if C6 wheels look really good then ill go with them. Any other wheel suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Id like to have a picture to back up your choice if you can. Thanks

 

How about you find some pictures of wheels and post them here, then we'll give our opinion I'm sorry, i'm just too lazy to dig around for pictures. Silver always looks amazing with black, but try not to go with black Z06 wheels like 90% of F-body owners, try to find some different ones. Chrome also looks great with silver, it just depends if you're considering doing some type of color scheme with the car, for example smoked tail lights, smoked/clear turn/side markers etc. etc.

 

If i was putting GM wheels on a camaro Id go chrome c6's. I have zo6's and like them but would swap them out if I had better cashflow. So they are they to say till the stock market comes back.

 

Being that your car is silver, black wheels would look good on your car. If you have the opportunity to get chrome wheels, do so as chrome goes good with any color. However, chrome wheels need a lot of maintenance and you really have to be careful with what you buy as not all chrome plating processes are equal. On the surface, they may all look alike, but the inferior ones will pit and peel a lot faster, especially when exposed to the elements and chemicals. I've seen road salt destroy chrome wheels in one season. However, if you live in an area where this is not a concern, then you should be fine for several years granted you take care of your wheels. My best advice for you is to find pictures on the web of silver Camaro's with the wheels that you like and go from there. Hope this helps.

well let me throw out my opinion...if your doin a black and silver theme (same as i) the C5 black Z06 rims with a chrome lip look amazing...i had chrome ones for awhile but it was too much for what i was going for...i actually downgraded to a salad shooter that was black with a polished lip and it looked much better.
