I want to convert my 97 SS front end to a 02' front end. I have the front bumper, right and left fender, headlights, fog-lights, SS hood... All I need is the deamn brackets. Is there anyone out there that can give me the list of what prackets I need to mount my kit.

 

actually you shouldn`t need any brackets. you will need the bumper reinforcement and the plastic panel that the front cover mounts on.

the headlights use the same brackets and the same wiring connectors and such.

i have the newer clip on my 94 and it looks sweet. check it out in my sig.

all the other brackets from your old clip should be the same and they should work fine

 

Man I don't know why you'd want to do that......the '97 SS front end is so much sexier with that hood than the LS1 front end.

Some d!ck in a SUV backed up into my 97Z and the insurance is going to cover my front bumper and hood. So i'm going to convert to the 98+, other then the fenders,bumper,hood,and lights. Do i need the Rad. support and bumper support to do convert?

 

Did you convert yet? Also did you need the Rad. support and bumper support to convert?
