Thumbs up Camaro Export Tail light info, your help needed!

For those that are unfamiliar with the info. Check out ls1.com or ls1tech.com for the posts from last week. Basically I have been working on these for months and this is the latest info.

Ok heres the newest info guys/gals:
I met with the engineer and tooling company today and they are getting all of my costs together. One thing he would like me to do for them would be to get an "interested" list. That way we can get an idea for immediate interest in these lights and then be able to gauge the length of our production run. Its real simple, if these are something that will interest you, Please post "Interested", or you could rant and rave about how bad you want them!

I am going to post in other forums as well to try to generate as much interest as possible and please pass the word along. We discussed possibly being able to presell(or take deposits)on these once we have our costs locked in, and you would be guaranteed your set of lights upon release of them. We may start in runs of 50 per month or more depending on interest and feedback.

I appreciate everyones help in this venture. I am trying hard to bring a product most of us like and want but isnt available by any reasonable means or reasonable dollars. So lets get the list up and running, and once again THANK YOU!

Andy

PS I believe Ill be becoming a sponsor soon!!

Question

Are you talking about the "Real" export taillights like in my sig? If so, I think you have a winner! There have been so many requests for these lately. If you price them right, you'll have no problem getting orders.
Good luck,
Fred

Thanks

$250 is to much though I though. I'd pay $150 ...

250 for tail lights is a bit steep...

The actual cost of having a tail lense molded from scratch and actually produced is very expensive. Thats why you dont see people just mass producing lights. Im shooting for $250, compared to the $600-900 I ve seen them sell for I think it will be a fair deal. I would have paid $250 for them if I could have found any!!
Keep the interest coming guys.
Thanks
Andy
