Buffing out a scrape?

Someone rubbed up against my vehicle.

White paint transfer on the rear quarter panel. Doesn't look too bad.

What should I use as a rubbing agent on my buffer?

just try a decent rubbing compound to take it out by hand before you get the buffer out on it. I usually just take some of the 3m stuff to things like that on our rental cars, only thing it's good for really. If that doesnt work meguiars has some good machine glazes, should be in a yellow bottle.

Bout $50 a bottle but it works great! That's what I use to get door dings out all the damn time!

Easy to use, can use it by hand as well.

Good luck Sir,
Ivan

I've been using Kit Scratchout from Vatozone. Doesn't cut through the clearcote like some of the more abrasive buffing compounds, oh and it's like $5 a bottle lol
