That's really cool! Not a big fan of how it becomes soo pointy at the front, but cool & different nonetheless.

That is FBA!!!!! I LOVE it!

I want to do a hood for myself sooner or later.. I'm a big fan of this motocross or whatever heat extractor/ram air hood!! It looks real aggressive, and can be done, but will just take some planning..

I give your friends job an A+!

A car isnt custom unless you made part of it. (even if there is help from pre fabbed parts : / )

Talk about bringing a post back from the dead...

Anyway, I'd like to see the pics of it finished.

Check out my buddy's hood. Sounds about like what Chadwick was talking about. I love this design. Third pic down

lol....as if making subwoofer enclosures out of fiberglass wasn't hard enough! I don't even wanna imagine how much fiberglass it takes to make a hood.

The hood itself is nothing special, he is very talented to make that hood and the functioning of the hood sounds pretty cool.

Man - that is awesome! Dunno how I missed this the first time around.

I wish I had the time and resources to do that - my preferred hood would be very similar to that one - only the scoop would be longer (continue on out) toward the nose a little bit. That just almost looks like a miniature scoop on there - but it still looks excellent!

Major props to your buddy Brent - tell him to sign on and tell us all about it. We can sit behind our monitors, sipping coffee and eating smore's while he shares with us the trials of hood making.

Wow! This topic is so old that he has already taken that hood off and made himself another one! He wanted a 4" cowl hood where the cowl went WAY back... as far back as it can go without getting in the way of the wipers. I have pics of that hood too. I'll post some pics of it later!
