Brake Caliper Paint, 1200 or 500 degree?

When painting brake calipers what kind of paint is best to use 1200 or 500 degree or does it matter?

I'm only asking because I can't find Clearcoat in 1200 only 500 degree. I'm using duplicolor 1200 degree red and aluminum.
