What do you guys think of a car with body colored t-tops?

paint the center trip to match, and just have a black trip piece along the back of the t-tops.


Just wondering what you guys think that woudl look(just toying with ideas, with parts left over after a t-top conversion.)

 

i dont know...i kind of like the look of the black top on most f-bodies, i think it looks good. Like on my silver firebird it looks good b/c it goes with the rest of the car with tinted windows and everything. Its up to you though.

 

I like the black too on some cars... but I was just thinking with an NBM car, and I woudl have the roof panel. All I woudl need is 2 t-top frames(seems people shatter t-tops every now and then) Then maybe trim up the top to fit the frames.

 

get a hardtop if you want the roof to be the body color

 

hehe I do have a hard top...

I plan to convert to t-tops, I was just entertaining something cool to do with my roof after I cut it off.

 

oh i see what your talking about now...yeah with that color car i wouldnt really want a black roof, black with NBM wouldnt really look all that great. But i like having a glass roof also b/c it looks cool from inside even with the tops on.
