Body color on T-Top center divider?
Anyone try this or have a pic? Doing a T-Top conversion now and tossing around paint ideas? Mine's a '94, which means it should have black mirrors, black C-panel and black T-Top wells. I'm thinking of making it ALL my body color, which is polo metallic green ....even the dinky center-divider .....
Stupid idea? ..or would it look cool for when the tops are on to see a green C-panel and green center divider tying it in with the rest of the green?

When I did mine I used flat black...... it helps hide the flaws
I'm going to be coming right through Charleston on Saturday, shoot me a PM if you want and we can meet up and you can check mine out.

Haha now I know someone has caught on. lol only reason I thought of it is the existing one could use a repaint anyway. I think you're probably right that it wouldn't look good but it was just a thought and it would def be different. Picture the tops on ....the mirrors are green, the center piece is green, the C-panel that goes across the roof on the backside is also green ...it's all kind of "tied together". The problem is that little divider has no style, it's just a plain little piece and I agree it would probably look weird ...just looking for some input.

That'd look pretty gross to me.
