BMW rims fit??

I want 10.5 or wider in 17". Everyone has the same ZR1 or TT wheels. Does anyone know if the Beemers will fit our 4th gen F-bod? Any big difference in the 120mm versus the 120.6? When searching on Ebay, you will find a multitude of choices in BMW wide wheels. Many more choices if someone can confirm they fit. Ideally, someone that works at Tire store may be able to borrow the BMW's wheels for one minute to mock them up to a Camaor to see if there is interference... Thanks guys.

Step forward

I was hoping someone here would have that First Hand Knowledge. No-one?

I was really surprised how many 10.5" width rims are available to fit 120mm. And we only get a few replicas or TT or pony-up big bucks for Custom.

Theres a guy that post on here that has m5 wheels on his silver 4th gen. Looks pretty cool. As far as I know he had no problems with the fit. I wouldnt put BMW rims on an Fbody because it will always look like a camaro w/ BMW wheels.

If you look around there are plenty of 10.5 wheels for an fbody. And they probably cost the same as a set of BMW wheels.

I have a set of BMW 3 series wheels on my '01 Z28. No problems here.
I painted the inner black. These are 17x9's, bought in Germany.

Wow... Dark Angel... that looks MEAN.

I think the BMW 5 series has available the wider sizes. You mention yours are 9" width from 3 series.

I assume you are able to re-use the original f-bod lug nuts?
Cause I fear that BMW-style wheels may use some stepped-type lug hole or conical or tappered hole, or sumthin funky that would prevent from swapping to my car.

You didn't have any trouble with the hub hole size?

I found the Topline Bullit's in wide width require Purchaser enlargement of the hub hole of the wheel.

Just still concerned if they indeed swap over easily or require modifications such as hub hole enlargement or strange lug nuts.

thanks.

I used to have Racing Dynamics BMW wheels on my car. The bolt pattern is correct and they fit that way. However, the offset wasn't quite right. I am not sure of the offset on newer BMW's though, so I can't help you there.

They bolted right up, including the lug nuts that came with the wheels! No modifications to the wheels or the car. The offset for the 9" are excellent, they space them better then most.

I know it is tempting to do it but they are not the right size, It's not a question if you can get them on, you can but the fact is your stressing your studs, your putting probably a thousand pounds of bending stress on them, your pulling them outwards about 0.020" and trying to bend hardenered steel with a big 12mm lugnut and 100 ft. # of torque when the tapered ends are mating and trying to fit., it's not a good idea, I wouldn't feel safe driving that. I would just get some vette wheels if I were you.
