blue rims?

As you can see from my sig I have a white formula. I wasn't crazy about the color but I was getting a great price and a good trade-in price so I took the car with the intent of painting it a different color. I was saving for an expensive paint job when I saw a 30th anniversary trans am.

White TA with the blue racing stripes, white leather interior & BLUE rims! I fell in love with this look. I didn't want to spend a fortune to get a ws6 hood so I put a rally bird racing stripes/hood bird on my car in blue with matching door emblems. The car looks awesome now but those blue rims would really complete the look for me.

I have searched for hours in all the major search engines (google, msn, yahoo) and can not find any place that sells blue rims.

Anyone know where they can be purchased from or do they not exist except on the actual anniversary cars?

Thanks

They are awsome rims. But you'll have to find somebody that has a 30th and is selling the wheels or know somebody with one because I think you have to have the VIN and sometimes even present the car.

You could get the style wheels you want and take them to get "anodized" blue.
That or you could get the rims you want in chrome and clean them, paint them with metal cast blue outta the can, and clear coat them.

Try the first option before the painting it your self

I would try those 2 options while you are waiting for your wheels to pop up for sale

Problem with ANO is that it's EXTREMELY easy to scratch off :-/

Heck I have an A4 so I'm used to takeing a lot of **** about my car any way. I have driven two camaros and two firebirds prior to this car and they were all v6's so I was teased to no end by friends and coworkers for not having a V8. Now I have the V8 and they tease me for it not being a M6.

I just can't win. I wanted a M6 but there was not one for sale in the under 20k price range at the time and I have no patience and was way too anxious to feel what a V8 powered ls1 felt like to wait for one.

Anyway to get back to the rims I thought the blue rims would give the sides of the car some color. The rally bird decal is not the anniversary stripes. It's actually a semi large hood bird that has its wings turn into the racing stripes. Since It is not the anniversary stripes I don't know if I'll get the "poser" routine or not. Probably would though knowing my luck.

Thanks for the replys, I'll probably just get cooler looking rims and forget the blue but it was a nice idea.

I think those stripes would look good on your formula
