Blinking 3rd brake light

Anyone know how to convert my '95 3rd brake light into one of the newer style '02 blinking one when I press on the brakes?

Saw this last night when I was following my cousing in his 35th Z28.

Thanks for the help,
Ivan

I think he musta put that on himself, cause newer ones don't come stock with a blinking brake light. I used to own an '02.

Re: Blinking 3rd brake light

It's not really like its blinking, more like it's getting dimmer and then brighter, then dimmer.

Kinda like on some of the other GM cars like the Impala.

I thought that it might be as simple as a resistor or whatever...?...

He just bought the car like 4 months ago right off the lot.

Plus he's not smart enough do make anything do anything that it's not supposed to do you know...

Thanks again,
Ivan

I think that's annoying as hell. Don't do it.

Re: Blinking 3rd brake light

Those blinking 3rd brake lights are so gay.

Usually only super paranoid soccer moms put those on their cars because they think it'll decrease the chances of getting rear-ended.

My suggestion: Dont' get one.

Its subtle so I think that it'll look alright. I do agree that the really blinking ones are gay as a three dollar bill.

Thanks,
Ivan
