I just got a 00 z28... The previous owner put hid headlights in the front and back. The blinkers do not blink when the turn signal is on. The lights come on, and stay on, both front and back. Untill you turn the corner, then like normal, they turn off.... However, they do flash when the hazards are on.. Does anyone know how to fix this??

 

Did they ever flash for you? Did the po put leds in there? If not, replace the fasher

when i got my car the previous owner put the wrong bulb in witch caused this same issue in my car

 

I read about the flasher last night. I'm going to buy a new flash relay today and see if that does the trick. if not come up walt bulbs should I be getting?

 

get the upgraded electronic flasher. Part number el12-xxx or some crap.

make sure none of the bulbs are out and all the connections are good.

 

yup, thanks for the input, it was the flasher, changed it out and works like a champ.. resoldered the bcm and changed some bulbs... busy day today.. thanks again
