I have a 79 Z-28 and Im restoring the interior. I already have the seats covered in black factory OEM vinyl. Im stuck on the color of the carpet. Should I go black carpet, or a different color? I was thinking Grey carpet with grey head liner and grey rear window panel where the speakers mount. Does anyone have any helpful ideas?

 

Either would look good, IMO.

However, if you do go an alternate color with the carpet, you need to pick it up somewhere else, like you say with the headliner, otherwise it will look out-of-place.
