I'm changing my interior to black, I have tan now. I was wondering if there was a way to change my seatbelts to black (dye???) or if Camaro or Firebirds came with blackseat belts stock? My only fear of dying the seatbelts is since they are used alot on clothes will the dye start to come off on the clothes, that would be VERY bad.

Buy new ones. I would never try to dye things my life might depend on.

 

Just keep an eye open on ebay, someones always parting out full sets of seat belts from wrecked cars.

 

Would you use a seatbelt from a wrecked car (i.e. one that had to catch a person once already)?

I would either try to find someone to switch seatbelts with or buy new ones.

chrish holds a valid point. I should proof read my replies. I didn't mean to imply to get the belts from a mangled vehicle. Although on ebay you never can tell where there from, and you kind of have to trust the seller. I meant to look for someone parting out a car that is no longer useable, not one that people perished in.
