Black and red interior?

Black and red interior?
Alright, so recently I was going through pics of the black and red interiors. Such as those found in the '03-'04 Cobras. I was thinking about trying it out on my car, and I was wondering how it would look like. Does any one have any pics?
Today I got my old broken window switch panel and painted it red. Tomorrow I'll probably wetsand it and give it some clearcoat. But it doesn't look too bad. I was thinking about buying the plastic parts that go behind the door handle too, to paint them red. Then I could buy some black with red seat covers, and some red gauge overlays from 6LE.com. I think it might work nice on my car, since it is bright red with black rims.
Also, should I paint the switches black or red to match, or should I leave them the factory graphite color?
Here are some pics of the window switch panel (tomorrow I'll put it in my car to see what it looks like), and some red and black Cobra interiors.

Re: Black and red interior?
Unless they are done well it can look really tacky IMO- Adding red to the interior should be the door panels and red/black seats.
Unfortunately the 'ricers' ruined painted interiors for me since it seemed most of them just randomly sprayed paint on pieces of the interior. But its your car- do what you think will look good. Just take your time and don't rush things.

I have a black 95 Z28 with factory charcoal on red cloth interior. I love the look and I have not seen another like it. I will take pics tomorrow and post em up. Here is a teaser pic for now.

I must say that is a gorgeous Camaro. I love LT1 Camaros. I'm really digging the black on black, and am digging the little bit of red I see.
Alright so I was thinking. Painting the window switch panels and plastic panel behind the door handle red, maybe the speaker grilles, and getting the red gauge overlays, and then having my seats upholstered black with red suede inserts. That would be it.

Re: Black and red interior?
The red is just so suttle throughout the car. Ive never been one for over powering interiors and this one just makes you stop to look. I am currently repairing a few top end gaskets and have decided to follow through with the red into the engine bay. Once im done I'll post up the pics. Give me a few hours and ill get the interior pics uploaded.

Re: Black and red interior?
The speaker grills look more ghetto painted a different color than anything that has ever been painted or added on to a Camaro. (I might be exagerating, but not by much).
Keep it black and just stick with changing the leather/vinyl. The doors can look great with the door vinyl replaced with a different color.
Please don't do the nasty painted stuff. You'll regret doing it. You normally paint things to draw attention to them. Painting your door handles, window switches, speaker grills, or A/C vents is about like painting your *** hairs or pimples. You're just drawing attention to unsightly things that don't need the extra attention. Get a painted shift ****, some seat covers, and maybe 6LE gauge overlays and call it a day.

Re: Black and red interior?
Yeah, you guys are right. So, where do I get the red door leather/vinyl? Also, my dad is going to have the seats on his Explorer reupholstered. If they give him a good price, I'll probably do mine black or graphite with the red center part.

Dodge, give JC Whitney a shot, they're typically pretty good about interior-related stuff like that, they may have something.
Hooligan, I like the styling of your interior, got me wanting to do something similar to my '94 only with blue.
