I've searched and can't seem to find an answer?!
OK the roof on Z28 seems really went with a special treatment paint process ... NO how I could fixed any damaged on it! looks like a glass and if I'm planning to paint my hardtop with good shop, doubt it will not get as its original look!
any idea how to repair it? if not what is the color code of this black???

I remember waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when.....

Somebody here actually took theirs (black roof treatment) off and rolled as if it never came like that.

I've had both and prefer the colored roof now.

Paint code for the black roof is GM paint code 41 Onyx Black.

 

For me, black on silver looks waaaaaay better ...

You could actually order your Z28 after 1995 with the monochromatic option and your roof and mirrors would be body colored. I'm not really as fond of that look. I grew up thinking Z28s all had black roofs, so I prefer that look.
