Best way to install GFX? Help plz

Im having my Wtype Kit painted this week (should have it by thursday) whats the best way to install it? i know double sided tape and the screws, but anyone have any pointers? Like for the sides, how much of the rocker do i cover? all of it? like just a tad past where it meets the fender? Any help would be appreciated thanks

Hey man...

First question...Where and how much are u getting it painted for?

Heres MY experiences with gfx...Now Brent will tell u the exact opposite. But like i said...this is my personal experinces.

With my kit, i used double sided tape for the whole kit along with the screws for the side skirts..

First week or so no problems. Then after a while the double sided tape started to peel and the front and back were loose as hell. I would have to constantly keep taking it off and putting new tape on. I used a bunch of differnt brands of the double sided tape, so i know my tape wasnt messed up.

But a long story short, if *I* were to do it all over again, i'd definetly plan to use a lot of screws to hold it in place.

But just so u know, the screws act as a protection to in a way. Since i have all double sided tape in the back, someone yanked my rear gfx...

But anyways, IM me if u wanna talk about it some more..Take it easy bro..

Where did you get the W-Type kit for $360? I've been looking to buy that kit, but for $360 I'll buy it right now.
