MBA's come in a LOT of different sizes.......

I've got a "modified" MBA in my car.... I personally love it except for one thing.... temperature changes... it comes with the territory of having a billet **** though....

see if you can find a newer corvette **** off ebay or a covette board, they've got pretty cool stock handles too, but i like the hurst just as well.

Here's mine! The color matches my interior pretty well. The **** also has finger grooves and a thumb rest molded into it. Kinda fits like a pistol grip...

$29.99 from your local auto parts store!

B&M Tall Leather Shifter ****...

Corvette ****

This thing is great..

Fits the contours of my hand..

Easy to grab...

Quality made unlike that crappy ball for the f-bod...

And as long as you park into a place that you have to back out of, noone will ever drive you car. Because reverse is in the exact oppisite place that what it says for the corvette. People will look down, see the diagram, pull down on the **** thinking its reverse but actually sixth, press on the gas and the up on the clutch and realize tahts 6th . Guarenteed they'll give up before finding it as long as they've never driven a f-bod or you dont tell them. Great way to get out of friends drving your car. Just be like you're not even smart enough to reverse the car let alone drive it.

I vote for MBA. I recieved mine a couple weeks ago. Red with a bowtie Hell yea. I like it so much that when im driving I dont rest my hand on it cuz I dont want to get it dirty or anything. I used to have a Hurst billit pistol grip type thing, but it was too damn tall. Actually made for a much longer through than a ball. MBA all the way!!!

vote for the MBA...

got mine in the larger size and in black with Z28 engraved. the engraving is phenominal and nice and small lines to really make a nice piece.

i agree with the temp...after sitting in the sun it's almost too hot to touch.

another thing about the MBA units is that they are designed to shorten the height of the **** by starting the threads deeper in the ball...combined with my lou's short stick ...it's SHORT

Here's another vote for MBA. I have the Silver with "Z28" engraved. I also have Lou's Short stick and I can't even imagine how I got along with the stock shifter and **** for the month I had them on there. Short is where it's at.

Good question ... I've been looking around too.

There are several on Ebay, but not sure about the quality. Most look like MOMO knock-offs, but not near as expensive. Do a search for "camaro shift ****", and different search for "16mm shift ****". There is a line advertised on Ebay that says it fits 16mm shafts in the description.

I like the Grant Evolution. I emailed Grant, and it will fit our shifters. It is a set-screw type, but so are the MOMO's. There seem to be very few screw on ones out there other than the MBA ***** and Hurst ***** (16mm * 1.5)

I'm leaning towards the Grant or Hurst leather that SLP sells, with a short stick.

I too have an MBA ****. Excellent quality and looks great. But like was mentioned in previous posts, it's subject to temperature change. If you leave your car outside on a summer day and it gets direct sunlight...watch out...it's like a skillet. So, during the summer I cover it with a small towel when it's outside. This really helps. Of course in the winter it gets ice cold, but that not as bad as scalding your hand on a hot ****.
