Hmm, I agree, I don't like your tips either. They actually look like they are hanging a bit low too, but I'm not sure.

The black panel mod looks ok, but a chrome Berger logo would really set it off and make it not look like an primered piece from having an accident.

I like the purple pearl paint though . It's not often you see those.

Yet another Berger mod.........I too am getting a bit tired of it....I never liked it to begin with, but seeing picture after picture after picture of it is making me like it even less.

After awhile, anyone who doesn't have a Berger panel is gonna be in the minority.

Yeah, I kind of agree. And honestly, no offense to anyone, but it REALLY doesn't look all that good on most paint colors. Especially without Camaro letter inserts and/or the Berger emblem or ZL-1 emblem. I think it looks good on red cars, terrible on black, decent on white, ok on navy blue, very bad on purple and maroon (all shades), sorta ok on hugger orange, and bad on green. Overall, I guess you could say I think it looks bad on the darker colored cars.

I actually rarely ever see that mod here in Dallas, I actually can only think of one non-ZL-1 Camaro that has it.

I think if this purple pearl Camaro owner wants to make it look awesome, he needs to (some of this stuff may already be done on his car -- like some was at the factory on my Z28) gloss black his roof, side mirrors, headlight eyeshadow, front bumper "mouth," door handles, and of course gloss black his berger panel. If he did that, and put some purple pearl CAMARO letters on the back I think it would look absolutely amazing. All other colors of CAMARO letters I can think of would look trashy since purple pearl can look VERY gray/gunmetal at times. Red would definitely look throwup-terrible, and I can't imagine silver/chrome looking good either.

Guess pretty much its my own opinion that i like it, and its my car. I think the inserts would be too much.

Where can you purchase the one that comes colored with Camaro letter inserts and/or the Berger emblem or ZL-1 emblem?

Re: Berger mod pics.......

I don't think you can get the ZL-1 logo anywhere, but bergerchevy.com could probably hook you up with the Berger emblem. As for Camaro inserts, just buy some made of a stiff material (not vinyl) and have a paint shop paint them the color you want them if they don't come in a color you like. If you got vinyl ones, I'd assume they could bend and ruin the paint job on them.

I'm thinking of doing the berger mod to my red t-top ss camaro. I'm actually getting the ram air horns done too with the berger for the price of "free" heehee. But should I get ther berger panel painted with a shiney gloss paint like how my ramair horns? Cause I've seen some with glossy paint and most with dull paint. Hmmm, what do you guys think?

Re: Berger mod pics.......

I painted my mirrors and headlight eyeshadow glossy black.......and I'm very pleased with it. Much better than the flat black.
