by Berger emblem

I am going to have my rear panel painted flat black when I am having my SS hood painted...........and I was wondering where I can pick up one of these emblems.

Have you tried contacting the actual dealership???

Just a thought. Not that they are into selling just the emblems, but you never know.

Was your car bought there? Is it a real Berger Camaro? If the answer is "no" to one or both of those questions, please don't put those emblems on your car.

It's called a Berger panel because Berger Chevrolet had their SS' and other special edition Camaros painted flat black as a tribute to the blacked out tail panels of the 1st gen big block cars. The real name of the piece is just a taillight filler panel. I really hate when people think the part is actually called a Berger panel.

my car was bought in Michigan....but I don't know if it was bought at Berger Cheverolet ........I will have to some research.

He's already PM'd me asking for my VIN so he can buy SS emblems.

Since when do you need a VIN to buy any SS parts? They're all over ebay. SLP was selling off their excess SS stuff last year. It's real easy to fake an SS.

I wanted to buy it directly from GM here in my town and the parts guy told me that I need the last 8 from a real SS camaro to look up the part number.

He might have just been lazy as hell to look it up.

And 6SpdLT1Z I thought that this is what this forum was all about...........helping people out. Oh well
