Is this backspacing correct for me?

I hope to buy a set of TT2's with tires on Ebay. The deal sounds really good since both wheels and tires are fairly new. The specs are: 17X9.5 T-THRUST II 5X4.75+
Backside Spacing (in/mm): 7/178 Offset: 45.72 mm I know jack squat about spacing and all. Are these for F-body's and is this a common backspacing for these wheels? Are the tires going to be sticking out past the tire well? Thanks for the insight if anyone can provide it. The auction is almost over.

Appears you are looking a the correct wheels.... they have the correct bolt pattern - 5@4.75", and they appear to have a 7" or 7-1/8" backspace (not sure if "7/178" is a typo, or what???). That is consistant with the 45.72" offset. Those wheels will fit a 4th Gen F-Body. They will put the edge of the wheel/tire about 1" further toward the outside of the body than the stock 16x8 wheels, and about 1/2" further toward the outside than a stock (WS6/SS) 17x9 wheel. But they will be fully within the fender line. A nice "aggressive" look.
