autometer is getting pretty fancy
anyone else seen these yet?

looks like they're jumping on the daisy chain and plethora of features bandwagon (good) and that they're gonna be some pretty awesome gauges. i was hoping they'd come out with some P/H/W gauges. nice playback features too...

Those are pretty nice. Don't really think 7 colors or whatever is necesarry, but that will help sales.
They need to make a full line though. That's the only way to buy gauges IMO. They all need to match or it looks hokey.
Re: autometer is getting pretty fancy
They really need to do a whole plug-n-play gauge cluster for our cars like they did for Mustangs....available with any of their instrument series.
There's some cool technology there....

Re: autometer is getting pretty fancy
i dunno the cobalt line ran me into the $1000 range so im sure these will be even more
but man they look sweet....as for the mustang cluster...ive been in constant contact with autometer about making a triple pillar for the 93-96z and a custom cluster for the 4th gen as well but they are not interested, i have however talked to APC about making them and they did seem to be interested, although i dont have anything at this time ill keep you posted

I agree!!! Lets get a petition going!!
Re: autometer is getting pretty fancy
Holy crap those are impressive.
I agree. We NEED a plug and play cluster like the mustangs have. I dont want a pillar for my car (it'd stand out too much) but I need a few extra guages... Having something that would let you pick a few extra guages would be worth it's weight in gold.
And that startup-shutdown sequence is freaking awesome.

Re: autometer is getting pretty fancy
if you guys love these gauges check out DEFI gauges... i had them in my supra and are probably the only gauges i'd ever buy (now i had to see these tho
they function very similarly to these with a few small exceptions.

Re: autometer is getting pretty fancy
I just got a really goofy idea... I bet if you popped off the lens for your cluster, you could stick a low depth 2" electronic gauge on each side and you might not loose anything from it either. I've got a spare cluster from a 94 V6... I wonder if it'd work...
Also I'm a huge fan of the polished trim rings you can get for the gauges on a C5 cluster...
