Does anyone have a modified console so that their automatic looks like a manual?

 

I did it, but unfortunately no pics over here in Germany with me. I simply bought a leather shift boot and removed the top of the console to install it.There is a "lip" around the opening where the shifter comes through and the bottom of the boot is folded over this "lip" and held with double-sided carpet tape.It took about 10min to install and looks great. I will try to get some pics for you.

 

My friend Joe did this with his 01 Formula. He has a TH350 in that car.

Either thats a manual or someone installed a fake clutch. Why make your car something its not? Automatic posing as a stick?

 

Probly was a manual and swaped the auto for racing.

 

I had one on my 95 Z until I switched to a 02' console

I'm doing that. I'm picking up my 97+ console tommorow now to find the perfect shift boot.

 

And why would he put it in reverse or 2nd or something for the pics? Looks like a M6 in Neutral
