Appearance Options...

Rear "Camaro" fill-ins. What color should I use for my car's paint? I was thinknig white or chrome/silver...

New Hood:

Is it too much (too showy for a non-functional hood and a v6)?

It would cost only $400, plus the paint job.

It sure looks good on meissenation's car, I'll have to ask him how well he can see over it.

Here's a photochop of an SS hood on my car, but that of course would cost more than double:

on the "CAMARO" letters, it depends on what kinda scheme you're goin for (like mine has a main color of silver, an accent color of black, and red as a secondary accent) so instead of just buying them now and risk being gawdy in the future, think about what else you want to do to it color wise and wheel wise...that hood, IMO, is a little much but i like simple, clean looking cars. but all that really matters is what you like...hope some of this rambling and preaching helped!

Re: Appearance Options...

Seeing over it is really easy, there's actually a thread that was recently posted about the Stinger hood, someone asked about pics from the inside and someone else posted a pic; it's a really short cowl when you're inside. One thing to mention, though, is it's a little tricky to change windshield wipers, as the cowl comes up over them, so you have to turn the windshield wipers on so they go up, then turn the car off so they're stuck halfway up your windshield, then you can change them, haha. Aside from that, I absolutely love my hood and wouldn't change it for any other one. They look great with stripes (I'll admit I found someone else's picture on Brent's appearance site and told the painters to make it look like that) and they look good with the whole scoop and "stinger" black, never really liked them all body color tho. In any case, if you can't tell, I think the stinger hood is a great option.

I personally dont like the hood, its too much.

And as far as the rear inserts go, I would paint the rear panel black and go with inserts that are the same color as your car. You cant go wrong with that!
