Has anyone re-painted the black headlight area on the 93-97 Camaro's? What did you use? I did mine about 7 months ago with flat black spray paint, and now it's all milky and chalked up. It has a bunch of grey spots and looks like absolute ****. What can I do?

 

Clear coat it next time.

 

Always put a few coats of clear on.

 

My teacher has alot of experience with body work and painting cars, and he told me to get satin black w/400 grit wetordry sandpaper, so I'm gonna bring it to the shop tonight and he's going to do it for me.

 

I don't want it glossy.....it's not glossy from the factory.

you can get clear thats not glossy... its called non glossy clear

 

Any idea where I can get it and who makes it?

 

you can get it from any place that sells paint ... i believe even walmart will have some
