Anyone have custom mounted tv's?
I will be purchasing a lcd tv screen for my 96 bird and i was wonder where some ppl were mounting them at?
any probs?

how big is it? i know a few people have done them. in the visors but if u only got 1 that wont be nice. i was just htinkin if u have like a 4-5 in moniter maybe put it in the cd-cassette holder in the middle consul. if u gotta 93-96 maro that is.
EDIT: i just noticed u have a bird and i dont think u have that.

My brother took out his passenger side airbag and mounted his tv monitor there. He took darkly tinted plexiglass and filled in around it following the dashes curves. Made for a pretty cool interior mod.

Im sorry but Axeman your bro isn't too smart...There are a thousand better places to put a lcd than where the airbag is! Could you imagine having to tell your girlfriends parents (or best friend/whoever happens to be riding with you) that youre sorry but their kid died because you thought you'd be cool and replace an item that was designed into the car as a safety measurement not to even mention that it is ILLEGAL! If he gets into a wreck and hurts someone then he came be sued too. Tell him to be smart and find a different place it.
