they;re fake supposedly. just to draw attention to the owner's website or something. they're actually SLP's castings of almost production headlights. the thread is somewhere here...i'm not going to find it though.

if you want a projector conversion try the hella 90mm kits. a few aluminum brackets and some hand bent plexiglass and you could have yourself some serious headlights for about 250 bucks.

I think that you are thinking of the '98 Firehawk headlights that never made it onto the car.......these seem legit, and if I did not have to hack my bumper to put them on, would be pretty cool IMO

That looks good. It's in my old hometown and I've never heard of the shop nor have I seen a finished product of this. That is one more thing to look forward to, I'd get it, but $$$$$.

I know on the mazda miata's that it gets to be a pretty common thing for people to do, i was actually surprised ive never seen a firebird/TA w/ it. That or the "sleepy eye" mod for the headlights.

that is sooo reatarded looking. the headlight half way "mod" that everyone is razing about....ugh.

so what your saying is that if you had a grand to spend on your car you'd put it into a non-popup conversion? i'd take 200 out of it, get some friends to help me egineer the mounting bracketry, get on the internet to find out what i have to do to shape plexi and save 850 and put it into something else.

I read a post about those a long time ago, as stated above, they were some sort of prototypes. Very expensive for a headlight upgrade in my opinion.

Please post in the correct forum.... "headlights" don't belong in LT1/LT4 Engine Tech.

Moving......

I've never really liked the looks of the LT1 'bird.
But with those on it, I really like it.

Those look awesome! I'd paint the top portion body color though.

Re: Anyone ever see these headlights for 93-97 firebirds?

These aren't the Firehawk prototype headlights; that guy up there misidentified them. The Firehawk prototype ones are from '98-'99 and that guy DOES just use them as advertising on ebay.

These are legitimate as far as I can tell.
