I am about to install brand new black C5 calipers on my camaro. I have looked at these on vettes and they always look like crap. I cant tell if this is because they just arent clean or if its crappy/thin paint. I'm wondering if I should put a clear coat on these before I install them. Can anyone tell me if the paint on theirs is holding up? Thanks-

I just put the red ZO6 front calipers on, and I think they look great. As far as lasting finish it's only been 2 months and it sits in the garage when not driven. I couldn't think why you would have any problem, just my .02.............John.
