American Racing Longbards

Hey all,

A potential buyer of my motor is offering me a set of rims for partial trade. He says they are a set of 17 in American Racing Longbards. I have been searching all over and can't seem to find these. Does anyone have any links, pics, or information about these wheels?

Thanx for any help u can give.

Hey, just thought I'd warn you, wheelspecs.com lists the bolt pattern as 5x4.5, and I believe that on 4th gen Camaros the bolt pattern is 5x4.75. I have no idea if you were planning to put those on your F-Body or not, but if you were, I don't think they'll fit. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong here.

BTW, here's the link:

damn, those are pretty sweet.

I dunno, the guy said they came of a 4th gen F-body. Anyone that can verify his info?

UPDATE:

The guy who is selling them just e-mailed me two pictures of them on an LS1 Camaro, so I guess they do fit . I must say, they do look pretty sweet! If anyone is willing to host the pics, i would be glad to e-mail.

He wants to do a partial trade of the Rims for my 383 shortblock. How much would be fair for me and him to knock off the price for receiving the rims?

Thanx for any advice everyone.

keep in mind that just because someone got them on there does in no way mean they actually fit. I've seen/heard of people doing all kinds of crazy stuff with wheels to get them on a car...and end up in a ditch when their incorrectly stressed studs break off on them
