Re: amazing headlights for our cars! prototype set!

IMHO, a headlight kit for LT1 Camaro's would need to leave the headlights "naked" in order for it to look right. The LS1 cars can get away with lenses because their original headlight covers/assemblies were designed with round and soft edges. Since LT1's have such a sharp and angular looking headlight cove, any lense that had rounded edges would look out of place, and a flat lense would just make it look like something that came out of the 80's.

BTW, the Breathless kit for LS1 T/A's was modeled after those SLP lights, the only difference is that the lenses angle slightly further forward and fill the headlight cove more, and they swapped the positions of the lights and put the square ones on the outside. (Which looks retarded.)

Key thing is there will be some people who will support some new type of lights and some who will hate them no matter what. The key is to get them out and let each person judge for themselves if it's cool or not. Notices despite the breathless kit being ugly, overpriced, cheaply made, cross eyed, ugly, retarded, a waste, and did I mention over priced, they still sell.

Am I the only one that likes the stock headlight arrangement? It suits the car and looks more aggressive then those that you posted. I think some people do their mods just to be different even though it really doesn’t improve the looks. If our cars came stock with flush mounted lights like that I bet people would be doing a conversion to sink them in like they are now.

I don't mind the stock headlights, I just think they could be more attractive. If I could just find a set that was completely smooth and didn't have the brand name embossed on the front, I'd just as soon do that instead.... but I still like the idea of them being in 1 single unit.

Brandon - I see from my referrer link at camaroz28.com what you are trying to do, but unfortunately the headlamps are packed away in storage right now.
