aluminum shifter handle? too hot/cold to touch?
Has anyone burned their hand in the summer or froze it in the winter w/ a aluminum shifter handle? Will it heat up or freeze to the point where you can't touch it to shift? Do you bring a glove (other?) should the occasion arise? Should it even be a concern?
Yes, it's a common thing with aluminum shifter *****.. mine does the same thing...
In the summer, I normally just throw one of the towels I carry in the backseat over it, and it works fine... and I don't drive my car in the winter, but in the cold it'll warm up as you drive the car and the tranny warms up...
