Aluminum Gas door

Anyone know where ppl are getting the aluminum style gas doors for camaros? I have seen a few on camaros in pictures but no description on where they are getting them or if they had to mod one from another car. If anyone knows if someone makes them or which one will fit off another car let me know.

off of a newer body style eclipse gt.
Once you get it, its very easy to see what has to be done to mount it, just trim a little bit off of your quarter panel where it rubs.

I have to try this it looks awesome!! My friend owns a Mitsubishi dealership up here in Canada. I'll try to get one from him. That is a project for the coming summer, if it ever stops snowing in this country. It is horrible up here. I should sell my convertible and just drive my winter hooptie. Summer seems to last for about 3 days per year up here. Time to move back to Florida again.

Painting it would not look bad at all IMO. Id leave the nuts around the edge silver though give an aircraft feel to it. Im leaving mine silver though just dont want to deal with painting it. If it ever gets blimishes though on it I will paint it.

The Audi TT cap is simillar. And it also utilizes a spring release so its tamper proof. Just run the release cable between the driver seat and driver door. Right there near the seat adjusment handle.

That way your cap will lock and unlock from the driver seat. *ka-******

i don't think that the TT door release is by a cable. you just push a button, so it may work like the hatch release in our cars.
