Black and red hounds tooth would probably look pretty cool. I cant say that Ive seen it before. I always thought the hounds tooth was a nice touch for the ZL1.

How about silver calipers with red lettering?
You would notice that more. The car is red - with red calipers, they would just match...do you want them to match, or to stand out? If you want the Camaro lettering to be noticed on them, I think the silver with red lettering would be the way to go. However, that would be a major pain to keep clean. How often do you drive the car?

The grille might work. Does on some cars.

Is this thing still at stock ride height?
If so - Eibach Pro-Kit.

We drive the car about 4,000 a year from April to Nov(we store it during the Chicago winters) It is still stock hieght and will probably stay that way. When your in you late 50's it's hard enough to get in and out of these things! The red calipers will probably stay because that was my wife's choice and this is a joint effort. But thanks for the input.

I disagree, chicken wire is for imports. Billet grills are nice looking.

Hey - that's what asking is for - to get input.

Good to see your wife is interested too though. That's cool.
My wife could care less.

Sounds like a very good choice, i like my red w/ red calipers, your wheels will do a good enough job creating contrast between reds. if i didnt have tan leather i would consider the houndstooth myself.

You took the words (I didn't know were in my mouth) right outa my mouth .

The ZL1s are an exception to the billet grill rule. They have such complicated stripe jobs that the billet grill isn't very distracting. I think the SLP fiberglass SS grill is still the best though.

you shouldn't be scared to ask our opinion lol...unless you do ugly gawdy looking things to your car ...but that all sounds like it'll look very nice. i love houndstooth but i like leather better in my car i think...good luck and i'd like to see it...go with billet!!!
