Air Bag Help
Air Bag Help
Hey fellas, I am currently looking into an airbag setup for my 94 z28. I found the air ride technology setup and love it. I even found a pretty good write up on how to install them on a camaro. The thing I need to know it, besides the front and rear air suspension setups, what else do I need. I'm talking what fittings, how many, roughyl how many feet of hose, how large of an air tank, what kind of compressors and how many, where to get the switch box, and what kind of and how many valves for a complete setup?. I know all of these depend on what I want the car to do, so here goes. I want complete control of each wheel independantly. I want front, back, side, side, front left, front right, rear left, rear right. I want it to go up pretty quick, but no hopping. I want it to go down kind of slow, but fast enough to notice it's going down. I just down want to slam it and crack my front ground effects of anything. Any help is appreciated, also if air ride isn't the best place to get all of the stuff (switches, valves, etc.) let me know who is. As far as the kit goes, if there is a better one, let me know, but I like the no welding or cutting part. God Bless

Re: Air Bag Help
ART makes a very nice product. they build their kits to go low but not too low... if you want to set the rockers on the ground look elsewhere. if you want great ride with height adjustment that goes as low as possible without sever body modifications then ART's kit is for you. just search their site, www.ridetech.com they have a message forum and a parts list so that you'll know what to get if you don't want to spend the money for their kit.
