I have a question...a friend of mine wants some aftermarket fogs for his Camaro (1995). He has the stock ones, but one of them is burnt out and he wants to replace the housings anyways (cracked, messed up, etc.) He also wants ones with yellow bulbs. I see PIAA makes some decent "Ion Crystal" fogs...does anyone know if these are sold at Advanced Auto Parts/Autozone? Or do you have any other reccomendations for aftermarket fogs that COME with yellow bulbs? He does not want OEM ones and he doesn't want to have to mess with bulbs...

Also...try and keep it decently cheap...he's a bit short on cash right now

If he doesn't want to fool with just putting some yellow emitting 885 bulbs into his stock housings, he definitely doesn't want to fool with putting some aftermarket fogs in.

There's a link in my sig that will show you basically what is involved with something like that (if you want it to look pretty good).

Also - the PIAA's are probably pretty good - but are definitely way overpriced. I have never seen them at a local parts store.
He would be better off just getting some regular fog lights at Advance/AutoZone and putting some yellow (probably H4) bulbs in them.

 

Just about all foglights at an auto parts store are gonna be yellow that or white/blueishwhite It's says on the box of each foglight what type lense it is and what color light it emits
all the ones I have bought do anyway

 

Thanks for the replies, guys. I read the posts and talked to him about it, we're just going to spend sometime this weekend installing some new yellow bulbs...
