Are you adding it to a Camaro? Yes all you'll need is the plug from a Bird. The antenna will come with a plug on it. I just cut the plug off and installed some quick connect plugs you can get at the local autoparts store. You have to hook up 3 wires.
1. ground
2. power from Radio
3. Wire thats hot all the time.

To the 97+ Camaro owners with power antennas you may want to do this mod.

I did it and love it. Now i can keep my antenna down 99% of the time. Please read both of my posts because i had to make a correction to my original post.

The aftermarket radio should have a wire for the Antenna. If the radio was installed correctly the stock wiring should be intact so just splice it into the stock antenna wire.
