Adding Classic Style To A 4th Gen?

Has anyone seen or heard of someone retro-izing (can't think of a better word) their 4th Gen Camaro? By that, I mean mixing classic style with stock 4th gen style. I have already removed my stock fender emblems and am buying 68 style fender emblems as soon as I can. I'm also getting the 68 V-Flag emblem (the non-turbo one), and putting it somewhere (probably in place of the bow tie on my grill). But I thought, why stop there? Why not try to convert tail lights and headlights (with a little modifying to the body for fitment), classic chrome bumper guards, classic door handles, classic gauges, classic steering wheel, etc? All sized up to fit a 4th gen, if possible.

Anyone heard of something like this? I'm sure it's been done, if not, I hope I'm not giving anyone any ideas, cuz this project is all mine! . Yea, right, It'll take me 10 years to do all that. Some of this would look great, but not all. A good modern to classic ratio must be used. Unless you guys think I should just stop with the emblems?

As for the emblems, since they are classic, they will more than likely be the pin in kind, so, I'll have to drill some holes in my fender and take it off to put some bolts in the back or something. But that's nothing too difficult.

I have the Camaro script emblems on each fender and the 69-70 style Z28 emblem on the rear. Let me know and I can take a couple closer pics for you.

I saw the pic in your sig, looks great! Did you have to drill your fenders and pin them in?

I'd really love to just get one V-Flag and put it in my grill to replace the bowtie, but there's a problem there, our grills are not striahgt, they bend. I don't think I could bend the emblem to fit flat against the grill, I'm afriad I'd break it. Or maybe If i replaced it with a Billet Grill, it would be flatter, and I could put it there.

I just hacked the pins off and glued the emblems to the fender. No point in tearing up your fender to fit these in.

Now why didn't I think of that?

As for the V-Flag, would you guys advise against me trying to bend the V-flag to fit the Camaro's bent-shaped grill? I could instead use this emblem:

It's made for gills specifically (will fit any it says) and looks bent already. I'd really liekt he V-Flag on my grill though.

There's definitely a chance you'd be taking if you try and bend the flag emblem. I'd say get one that's pre-bent.

Re: Adding Classic Style To A 4th Gen?

Id say try a console delete. IMHO that'd be great, espicially on the 93-95 Camaros. I would but I'd have to re-route the ebrake to move the handle, and then move the airbag module, which is a no-no.

But if I ever pulled the airbags, a console delete would be the first thing to do. Just have the shifter with a rubber boot on the carpet.
