99 Z28 (removed stock grill) glue removal??
Does anyone have any ideas on how to remove the glue from beneath the stock grill after the stock grill is taken off?
Obviously without damaging the paint.
Any ideas would be helpful thanks.

I have no clue what to tell you about glue.... Was it the stock grill? I've NEVER seen one glued on. Just clipped in. You can try Goo Gone, Oops!!, or Goop Off. Other than that, I don't know. Good luck!

Sometimes when the grill doesn't stay put because of broken clips, etc., people tend to glue them on. First of all, try something like WD-40 as this will not damage your paint. If the glue is soft, try to gently scrape most of it off with your fingernails. If the glue is very hard, then try using some acetone very gently. You do not want to scratch your paint. Hopefully your car is a darker color like black. As long as you don't break through all the layers of paint, many of the scratches can be removed by gently wetsanding with a high grit sandpaper (2000) and then buffing out.
